Very horrific. The black church has had some pre-emptive influence, but it is eroding as Oprah and Obama become the voices of African-Americans and secularism encroaches. A tragedy.
Brilliant. Thank you Mr. Hicks for that account of the all-too-little-known story of the role of African-American heroism in U.S. military and civilian history.
