"Will there soon be martyrs?" or why the South Poverty Law Center is a rabidly anti-Catholic hate group

1 Thess: For you, brethren, are become followers of the churches of God which are in Judea, in Christ Jesus: for you also have suffered the same things from your own coutrymen, even as they have from the Jews, Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and the prophets, and have persecuted us, and please not God, and are adversaries to all men;

Joe Sobran was right in his observation that in the past anti-semite was a label for one who hated Jews whereas today anti-semite is a label used to identify one whom the Jews hate.

Of course, one major problem within the Catholic Church is the obsessive fear of the Jews, within the Hierarchy especially, which prevents Holy Mother Church from warning her children that Jews are the enemy of the Catholic Church and the longer its one-half century preoccupation with pursuing a political accommodation with her enemies is allowed to persist the greater will be the animus against the Catholic Church on the part of the Jews.

The more we bow and scrape, the greater the intensity of the attacks.

It would be a wearying task to list the actions the Catholic Church has undertaken in an failed attempt to please her enemy - from changing our prayers in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to openly rejecting her fundamental task of conversion, and numerous other actions - and yet there has been no let-up in the unrelenting attacks against Holy Mother Church on the part of the Jews.

What a jejune and effeminate Church it is that fears raising a holy man to the altars because her enemy, the Jews, hates him.

A masculine Church would Canonise Pope Pius XII and tell the Jews to can it and bug off but not the Church of today; it cowers in fear of taking legitimate decisions if those decisions may upset her enemies.

It is a sick sad situation when a Divinely-Constituted Church refuses to act because of the opposition of her sempiternal enemies.

Of course, all of this perverse and execrable jettisoning of Tradition would rapidly end were Popes and Bishops to do their duty and to preach Christ and Conversion to the Jews (as did Peter and the Apostles - see Acts) but since our recent lamentable rupture with the past, those are duties the Catholic Church Hierarchy refuses to discharge.

Peter began his ministry by preaching Christ and Conversion to the Jews whereas, starting with Pope Paul II, our modern Peters begin their Ministry by writing to the Chief Rabbi of Rome promising a continuation of Papal political politics.
