Jennifer Rubin, Why Jews Hate Palin (Commentary 2010). As Mark Shea writes: "It's not just something about her: it's everything about her. It's like she was created in a laboratory for the specific task of driving Jewish liberals around the bend. The hostility is visceral and pre-rational: the loathing comes first and it is only later, if at all, that the loathers can articulate why they find her so repellent." The Commentary article tells us as much about liberal Judaism as it does about Palin.

The article seems to be intended to tell us more about Jews than about Palin -- it is a wryly self-critical piece -- the sort one would like to see Catholics try too. Palin figures in the article only as a rorschach blot. Mark Shea's take on this is blind.
Many of the same reasons liberals hate Bush.
