Meanwhile the party line guys like Fr. Barron reserve their “Oh God, here we go again” refrain for guys like...Ralph Reed? That's the way... Nothing internal to worry about with Good Pope Francis at the helm!
Voris puts it so well! But if I may add, in my own way,
Homosexual practise (but not inclination) is grievously, mortally sinful.
A parish which advocates and openly supports such activity, and desecrates the altar such as in the photo, is advocating grievous sin.
The responsible priests, and bishop, are complicit in grievous sin.
Catholics who hold orthodox views of the Faith have for too long remained silent. The time has surely come to speak out, clearly and precisely – just as Voris is doing!
Good thoughts. I would myself add that I would like to see more emphasis put on (1) the disordered nature of the same-sex inclination, and (2) the fact that this inclination itself can involve sin of it is not spiritually "starved" but "fed."
Sometimes I think the distinction between (a) morally culpable acts and (b) morally "neutral" inclinations is overly tidy. It has been abused, I think.
The Nicotine addict has an inclination that can be distinguished from his behavior (smoking), but it is also "fed" by his smoking. He's not born with it.
Likewise, so far no "homosexual gene" has be discovered, and addictive same-sex inclinations are also largely the product of behaviors that "feed" it.
But, since this is a "protected" area of society now, wait till the gestational circumstances are eventually elucidated which produce homosexual inclination(s), then there will be legal "protections" requiring a certain percentage of babies to be born with the desired "approved" characteristics and across all ethnicities the "families" will be "legally encouraged", as the government deems necessary, to have their offspring "reflect" the desired sexuality outcome.

Jacobi,

Or else!
