Politically correct John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that God gave God's only Child, that whoever believes in God's Child should not perish but have eternal life."

Re eternal life:

Ribi Yehoshua ha-Mashiakh (the Messiah) from Nazareth’s authentic teachings reads:
[Torah, Oral Law & Hebrew Matityahu: Ribi Yehoshua Commanded Non-Selective Observance
The Netzarim Reconstruction of Hebrew Matityahu (NHM) 5:17-20 (later Hellenized to “the gospel of Matthew” (which is anti-Torah))]
[Glossaries found in the website below.]:

"I didn't come to subtract from the Torâh (“books of Moses”) of Moshëh or the Neviim (“prophets”), nor to add onto the Torah of Moshëh did I come. Because, rather, I came to [bring about the] complete [i.e., non-selective] observance of them in truth.
Should the heavens and ha-Aretz exchange places, still, not even one י or one of the Halâkhâh of the Torah of Moshehshall so much as exchange places; toward the time when it becomes that they are all being performed -- i.e., non- selectively -- in full.
For whoever deletes one [point of] the Halâkhâh of these mitzwot (directives or military-style orders) from Torah, or shall teach others such, [by those in] the Realm of the heavens he shall be called 'deleted.' And whoever ratifies and teaches them shall be called ' Ribi' in the Realm of the heavens.

For I tell you that unless your tzәdâqâh is over and above that of the [Hellenist-Roman Pseudo- Tzedoqim] Codifiers of halakhah, and of the Rabbinic- Perushim sect of Judaism, no way will you enter into the Realm of the heavens." (see NHM)

Quote from www.netzarim.co.il ; “History Museum”

The reconstruction is made using a scientific and logic methodology. One of the premises is that the historical Ribi Yehoshua was a Torah-observant Pharisee (why that premise is true is found in the above website, in which you also will find more information about why a reconstruction is needed).

The historical Ribi Yehoshua and his followers Netzarim observed Torah non-selectively. The above website proofs that the person who want to follow the historical Ribi Yehoshua must do likewise.

According to the above verses Ribi Yehoshua taught that the only way to eternal life is to do ones best to keep Torah non-selectively to ones utmost. Then (according to “Hesekiel” 18 in the Hebrew Scriptures) the perfect Creator in His loving kindness provides His forgiveness for ones mistakes.

To observe the directives in Torah, which is the way that all of the followers of Ribi Yehoshua walks, is highly meaningful and I recommend it to you all!

Mr. Branderud,

I'm still looking for how your essay in the Hebrew background of the Gospel bears on the issue of political correctness in Biblical translation. I'm sure there's a connection. I could make one. But you may wish to spell it out if you're trying to make one.

Our website proofs that John 3:16 can impossible has been uttered by the historical Ribi Yehoshua.
It was added by Hellenist redactors who wanted to advance their political/religious agenda.

Btw, thanks for your comment on my blog re. the photos.

Mr. Branderud,

Proving something depends on having credible assumptions that your opponents accept as credible. According to my lights, I am sorry to say that your web site proves no such thing as that Jesus could not have uttered the original words of John 3:16. It would be one thing to claim that Jesus uttered the words in Aramaic, which were later translated into Greek; but you are claiming that they were interpolated by later Hellenistic redactors. This requires assuming a whole cluster of highly problematic assumptions stemming from the Tubingen school of 19th-century theologians like Ferdinand Christian Baur and others, like Adolf von Harnack, whose dialectical conceptualizations of the relationship between the "theologies" of Judaism, Jesus, and Paul can be traced back to Hegel's overheated idealism. I would suggest broadening your base of reading and research to include critics of those theological conceits. Best wishes, P.B.

My father,a retired Lutheran minister (ELCA), says he has literally heard other ministers use that same rendering of that verse.

Ribi Yehoshua being a Ribi in good standing in the Pharisaic community all of his life time proofs it impossible for him having uttered "John 3:16", which contradicts Torah.

Ribi:
"Rib′ i (when written without vowels: ריבי); Rabbinic ordination that was granted
only by the Nâ•si′ and Beit-Din ha-Jâ•dol′ ,
only to Jews residing in Ë′ rëtz Yi•sәr•â•eil′ (not, for example, to Babylonian Jews), and
only during the Tanaitic period, in the generation after Hi•leil′ to the 2nd century C.E.
"Rabbi" is anachronistic relative to Yәhud•âh′ in the first century C.E.."(NHM). (quote: www.netzarim.co.il)

Ribi Yehoshuas good standing is proven by this statement by Raban Jamlieil:

"Nâ•si′ of the Beit-Din ha-Jâ•dol′ ("Gamaliel, Rabban," EJ 7:295) beginning ca. 20 C.E. (Chronology of the Tan"kh from the 'Big Bang').

Filtering, as far as possible, all Christian redactions and interpretations and translating directly from the earliest extant source documents to reconstruct Hebrew Ma•a•vâr′ 5.34-40:

"And a certain man of the rabbinic-Pәrush•im′ in the Beit-Din ha-Jâ•dol′ named Jam•liy•eil′ , a teacher of Tor•âh′ esteemed by all of the kinsmen, rose up and ordered that the [Nәtzâr•im′ ] Shәlikh•im′ be excused from [the proceedings] for a short time. Then he addressed the Beit-Din ha-Jâ•dol′ saying,

'Men, Bәn•ei′ -Yi•sәr•â•eil′ , take heed to yourselves what you intend to impose upon these men; for in earlier days [Hellenist Greek] Theudas rose up claiming to be the Mâ•shi′ akh and had a following of about 400 men. He was taken up, and as many as were persuaded by him dispersed and came to nothing. After him, in the days of the census, Yәhud•âh′ of the Gâ•lil′ rose up and incited the am to stray and follow him. But he was finally brought to an end and as many as were persuaded by him dispersed. And now I tell you, Turn aside from these men, tolerate them, because if this counsel or this work is of men it will cease. But if it be of Ël•oh•im′ , then you will not be able to make them cease and, in that case, you would also be found to be fighters against Ël•oh•im′ …'

"So the Pәrush•im′ -dominated Beit-Din ha-Jâ•dol′ was persuaded by him but, having recalled the Shәlikh•im′ , the Hellenist pseudo-Tzәdoq•im′ whipped them and conveyed instructions to them that they should not speak in the name of Rib′ i Yәho•shu′ a, and released them."

Mr. Branderud,

I don't see how anybody who has even an elementary working knowledge of the New Testament, let alone a knowledge of Koine Greek, Aramaic and 1st century Middle Eastern culture, could claim that Jesus was "a Ribi in good standing in the Pharisaic community all of his life time." The fact that his own theology would fall on the side of the Pharisees as opposed to the Saducees does not mean he did not offend the Pharisees at nearly every turn in his ministry. Why do you think his death was sought by the Pharisees? Goodness, one hardly knows where to begin!
