Continuing "Regensburg Effect" ...
Sandro Magister, in a post entitled, "The Church and Islam: A Sprig of Dialogue Has Sprouted in Regensburg" (www.Chiesa, Roma, October 30, 2006), writes: "After the storm, the Muslim world is also producing signs of discussion “according to reason.” An erudite question-and-answer between the Catholic Martinetti and Muslim theologian Aref Ali Nayed." A previously unpublished text on the subject by the Vatican Secretary of State, Tarcisio Bertone, is also published under the title, "Dialoguing with the thinking élites in order to reach the masses." What is this -- Benedict contra mundum?
