Greetings from North Carolina. We left Detroit after my 9:00am class concluded at 10:30am on Thursday and drove to North Carolina to see the wife's folks. When we left Detroit, temperatures were comfortable -- around 60 degrees. When we reached Tennesee, we ran into snow. Go figure. Today in North Carolina we have freezing temperatures. Probably when we get back to Detroit, we'll find Fr. Dowling barbecuing ribs on his outside grill in cut offs and short sleeves. Global warming and all that, you know. At least in Detroit.
