A List of Canonized Popes
Holy Mother Church gives us the Feast of All Holy Popes each year on either July 3 or July 4, to commemorate all canonized popes. It is instructive to know which of history’s chief shepherds have been raised to the state of sainthood. With credit to the A Catholic Life blog, we present a list of all of the sainted Holy Fathers. The author of that blog makes the sound suggestion that we make a Litany out of this list, adding “pray for us” or “ora pro nobis” as we read through the names.1.
