Roberto de Mattei's groundbreaking book on the history of Vatican II, Il Concilio Vaticano II: una storia mai scritta (The Second Vatican Council – a never before written history), Turin, Lindau, 2010, is available in German - its first published translation, a wonderful gift for all your German-speaking friends, according to New Catholic, "Trickling Down" (Rorate Caeli, January 12, 2012). He adds: "We hope it will soon become available in all major languages, in time for the fiftieth anniversary of the last ecumenical Council."
The German title is: Das Zweite Vatikanische Konzil: Eine bislang ungeschriebene Geschichte (Canisius-Werk, 2011).
