Courtesy of one of my colleagues, HERE are the papers (in French, German and Italian) given at the "Underground" Synod of the French, German, and Swiss Bishops' conference.
As my friend concluded: Let us pray for the Church. Indeed.

evidently "enrichir" and "apauvrir" are synonyms?
ReplyDeleteRight out of the V2 playbook. Just ask "conservative" Papa Ratzinger!
ReplyDeleteFrom the text:"«Qui lit doit comprendre !» (Mc13,14): cette maxime herméneutique que l'on doit à l'évangéliste Marc", here the conferencences choose the criteria exegetical to explain, understand the deep meaning of biblical texts, it sounds like the protestant phrase "sola scriptura" or free examen(test), interpretation on the bilble`s text relies not on Magistrium and Tradition but in an abuse of historical method which leads to read the texts according to our own`s opinion. What can we expect since the begininig of the document they establish their own human criteria to make a. missinterpretation, to accomodate the sense of the scriptures to their pretensions.
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous. Yes, eisegesis is all the rage today and deep meaning is the modernist burial shroud covering the body of Christ
ReplyDeleteThese men remind ABS of the New England Patriots for if you were to query them about what they are doing, they'd just say they are cheating fair and square and, besides, everyone else is cheating also.
ReplyDeleteTraditionalists, if there are any, and conservatives, if that word describes anything tangible, need to do the same thing: set their own principles to pen and paper and swear an oath. Otherwise the weak sisters among them will drift over to the crypto-protestant majority. The crypto-protestants are already the majority: we know that from the last synodal gathering. They are just short of a 2/3 majority, and a few more weak sisters will give them that.
ReplyDeleteBluto. Those you describe are Cuckolics (reference to Cuckservatives who do not strive to protect the principles they claim to stand for)
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about the Gospels, ABS, is that there is no hidden meaning in them. (Gnosticism is not a heresy for nothing.) It's all there, right on the surface: 'For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.' John 3:16 I get choked up and my heart leaps for joy every time I see my saintly cousin's Down-syndrome son receive the Blessed Sacrament. He gets it! RFGA, Ph.D.
ReplyDeleteDear Dr. Allen. Amen; and ABS will soon be hearing the Gospel in a Byzantine Rite Church because the anthropomorphic happy meal for women and children has driven ABS even madder than he normally was a decade ago.
ReplyDeleteThis writer's Priest-friend (Holy, highly intelligent) has left our Parish Church and since his departure, the Lil' Liciit Liturgy has sunk back to its mundane mean that preceded him and it can no longer be tolerated and so it is now bye, bye to the local Franchise of Dead Diocese inc. America and hello, Eparchy, Mystery, Chanting, Iconostasis, Royal Door, Deacon's Doors, Icons etc etc
The anticipatory joy can not be described even as it can barely be contained inside of ABS; he is liberated....
