I'll be away for the weekend visiting progeny in the Big Apple (yes of Benedict Fan Club renown). As almost always, the means of transport is four wheels. I solicit your prayers. I should be back in the Big D, Lord willing, Sunday night, and in Blogsville sometime early next week. Keep the Faith.
By the way, the in-laws in Hickory, NC, said that during the near absolute shut-down of gas stations in NC over the last weekend, things came pretty close to a crunch. The police requisitioned two gas stations that hadn't run out for purposes of municipal emergencies (fueling police cars & EMI vehicles), and shortly before that there was an incident involving a pulled gun over the purchase of fuel at a station close to running out. Grim. Thankfully, supplies have begun returning to NC.
