Conservative Jews ok gay rabbis

In a move that would definitely delight the notorious Fr. Joseph O'Leary, Rabbi Kassel Abelson, speaking for the 25-member Rabbinical Assembly Committee on Jewish Law and Standards, opened the door to the ordination of homosexual rabbis and the recognition of same-sex marriage, but made clear that the more orthodox Jewish tradition would likel continue to oppose such liberalization.
