No need to get the vapors over this stuff. Fr Ratzinger is merely lip-syncing his colleague, co-author, and fellow liberal strategist on the V2 catwalk, Karl Rahner. Read Rahner's "Mission and Grace": same old same old.
ReplyDeleteLike all good nouvelle bastion razers, Young Ratzinger is only making come-hither eyes at the Enthusiasts of our Christian uber-Church.
I suppose "ambiguity" is the key to understanding any Nouvelle theolgian. I recall earlier comments you have made about statements by the former Ratzinger and the contemporary Holy Father. There is certainly a confusing pattern.
