It's truly amazing how many major news personalities bloopered this announcement: "Obama bin Laden is dead," even "President Obama is dead." I should talk. It would have been almost funny if I hadn't caught and corrected my own initial post heading: "For the record: 9/11/01-5/1/11 (Obama dead)."
How many of us took the opportunity to remember him in our prayers: "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us"?
It is funny that so many (your truly included) have trouble keeping the two distinct from one another. Perhaps this is the origin of the moronic joke from several decades ago: "Did you know that Ronald Reagan and Ronald McDonald are the same person? NO? Well, have you ever seen them together? Ha! Proof."
