Do you think His Holiness was misguided? Duplicitous?

Again, just curious.Sheldonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6312447.post-78681047118018724192013-07-13T09:36:35.607-04:002013-07-13T09:36:35.607-04:00Ms. Lapeyre,

You know he's cozy with Leonardo Boff, who was censured by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in 1985, and who finally broke with the Catholic Church in 1992.

Yet you think it's a good think that he may want nothing more to do with the SSPX, whose only sin is adhering steadfastly to Catholic tradition and are condemned as schismatic for their refusal to compromise and join the Vatican II revolution?

If Pope St. Pius X were to appear in Rome today, the curia would not know what to do with him, because he would have the same reaction to the new Mass, current ideas about ecumenism, religious liberty, etc., that the SSPX has. Curial officials might be inclined to label Pope Pius X as "schismatic," but then the Church has already infallibly declared him a SAINT!

So I'm just curious about your thinking behind your comment. That's all.Sheldonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6312447.post-48127061133139619262013-07-10T07:48:06.737-04:002013-07-10T07:48:06.737-04:00Who cares, he never liked them anyway.
